About

Patrick Sweeney, D.P.T., received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Marist College in 2015 and achieved his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University (NYU) in 2018. While at NYU, Patrick was able to attain certification as a strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) as well as gain experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings, with focuses in orthopedics, sports medicine, and pediatric neurorehabilitation. He also had the opportunity to work and learn in many of the major hospitals in Manhattan as well as treat runners in the New York City Marathon as a medical volunteer. He likes to use manual therapy and his knowledge as a strength and conditioning specialist to develop rehabilitation plans for his patients so that they can get back to their prior level of function. Patrick is originally from New York and moved to Massachusetts after graduation. Outside of PT, he likes working out, running, and is a fan of watching and playing football, basketball, and soccer.
